DIY Colorful Family Game Night Turn Stick

Family game night is a fun, frugal way to spend time together. As your family grows, so does the fun. Laughter and conversation are a fantastic part of game night but they also lead to losing track of turns. Constantly asking, “Whose turn is it?” gets frustrating, especially with younger kids. That’s where this DIY colorful family game night turn stick comes in. Now you can keep all of the fun and lose the frustration. If the turn stick isn’t passed to you then it is not your turn. It’s as easy as that.

Soak Up Summer Fun with 15 Backyard DIY Activities

Yesterday we celebrated my brother-in-law’s 30th birthday with a huge party full of food, family, and fun. His parents rented a venue right next to a local park and we spent the day running around with the kids playing, swinging, and laughing. It was a particularly special day for my in-laws because when my brother-in-law was 2 years old he was diagnosed with cancer and they never knew if this birthday would even come. It is a beautiful reminder to celebrate the time that you have with your loved ones. At the end of the day we were happy, grateful, and exhausted. With that in mind, I wanted to round up 15 backyard DIY activities that let you soak up summer fun with your family.
