I’m so ready for St. Patrick’s Day this year! The new year has been totally crazy between my husband’s travel for work, my schedule filling up (into May already!), and adopting a puppy.

Let’s just say I’m ready to kick back and crank the tunes for a night of relaxation.

That excitement is putting me in the spirit a little early, especially with crafts. The kiddos love these easy leprechaun craft spoons and, honestly, I totally do too!

I may have miscalculated making them so early though. I’ve already watched a lot of leprechaun plays and they’ve only had them a couple of days.

Maybe I should make a few more props for them, at least. Either way, the kiddos are definitely loving them.

Step 5

Now cut a small strip of green felt from your larger piece. Cut a piece off of the strip so that it is as wide as your as the smaller part of your top hat.

Step 6

Glue the small piece of green felt to the base of your top hat with hot glue.

Tip:

Step 9

Now, draw eyes on your spoon with a black pen. Try to draw them closer to the brim of the top hat instead of the beard.

Make as many of these easy leprechaun craft spoons as you want for kiddos to enjoy. They’ll enjoy helping you make them too.

Simply make sure mom helps with the hot glue parts. You can also use non-toxic white glue so the kids can make them entirely.

If you do, your easy leprechaun craft spoons won’t be as durable for play. Keep that in mind.
