Toasted Ranch Chicken Sandwiches

08.03.2015 by Marie // Leave a Comment

Welcome to week 2 of our awesome frozen, bagged chicken breasts recipes!  (If you missed week 1 you can check it out here.)  This week’s recipe is a great way to dress up leftovers or to make fresh from the oven.  The best part is that 2 cooked chicken breasts feed a family of four easily!  Make these toasted ranch chicken sandwiches any time you need to feed your family fast.

Have lunch (or dinner) on the table in 5 minutes with these toasted ranch chicken sandwiches!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cooked Chicken Breasts
  • 4 Hamburger Buns
  • 4 Slices of Mozzarella Cheese (Or shredded cheese)
  • 4 Tbsp. of Ranch Dressing (divided)

Step 1

Slice your cooked chicken breasts.

Tip: Slicing them into medallions makes it easy to fit them on the bun later without them hanging over the edge (unless you’re into that sort of thing).

Step 2

Toast your hamburger buns in the toaster to give them a nice, warm crunch.

Have lunch (or dinner) on the table in 5 minutes with these toasted ranch chicken sandwiches!

Step 3

Immediately place one slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bun as it comes out of the toaster to help it melt.

Step 4

Layer on slices of chicken and top each sandwich with 1 tbsp. of ranch dressing.

Step 5 (Optional)

Add other toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.

Have lunch (or dinner) on the table in 5 minutes with these toasted ranch chicken sandwiches!

Step 6

Replace the top of the bun and serve with a side (like delicious steamed-in-the-microwave edamame).

It’s that simple to go from zero to lunch in 5 minutes!  Check back next week for the next recipe in the series, the super-fast and easy chicken stir fry!  (Sign up for our Newsletter and we’ll remind you so you don’t have to remember.)
