Sometimes the stress of preparing for the large Thanksgiving feast makes us lose sight of the importance of the holiday. In recent years I admit to having been reduced to tears over the stress of multiple meals in the same day, missing out on the people and events I love, and a myriad of other stressors that come with it. A big change that we made is to host our dinner on a weekend before or after Thanksgiving Day. This has made a world of difference for my stress levels.
