How cool is it that Goldfish® source their colors from plants? The exact plants used very by color:
Red
- Red Goldfish® crackers get color using a mix of beet juice concentrate and paprika extracted from sweet red peppers.
Green
- “The green comes from watermelon & Huito juice concentrates mixed with extracted turmeric.”
Red-Orange
- “The red ones are colored with paprika extracted from sweet peppers.”
Orange
- “Annatto extracted from the seed of the achiote tree” is used to color the orange crackers.
