Materials

• Smoothie Straws
• Foil Cellophane Wrapping Paper (I got mine at Dollar Tree but here is similar online)
• Permanent Double-Sided Tape
• Scissors

 

Step 1

First, open your package of straws and pull out half of the number of party blowers you need.

 

Step 2

Next, cut each of your straws in half.

 

Step 3

Then set your cut straws aside.

 

Step 4

Now pull out your wrapping paper and cut it into rectangles.

Tip:

• The rectangles do not have to be exactly the same size.

 

Step 5

Next, cut fringe into each rectangle and leave an uncut edge that is roughly ½ inch wide.

 

Step 6

Flip a fringed rectangle over and add double-sided tape to your uncut edge.

 

Step 7

Now place a straw half to the left side of your taped edge as pictured.

 

Step 8

Next, roll the fringed rectangle around your straw.

 

Step 9

Repeat steps 6 through 8 until you have made the desired number of party blowers that you need for your party.
