Can you believe that Easter is just over a week away? If you aren’t ready yet, I’ve gathered some of the best ideas around the web for a perfect Easter that you can put together quickly.

In fact, I’ll be preparing right along with you. Why? I have to start our Easter gifts all over again. I had previously purchased everything for our baskets weeks in advance, congratulating myself on being prepared so early.

Yeah, tip for you: If you prepare in advance for holidays, you had better have a good (or fantastic) hiding place for the gifts! I, unfortunately had a major lapse in judgement and put the bag of goodies in my office.

Not only did the kids find it but, staying true-to-form, they proceeded to pull out and examine every. Single. Thing. So I will be starting all over again.

This Easter round-up will be my first stop in the new preparations!

Easter Food

I had never even heard of Easter bread before but this is such a neat idea. I see a new family tradition in our future.

 

How adorable are these cupcakes? I love that the “grass” is sprinkles plus they are super easy to put together.

This chalkboard idea is perfect, especially if you already use one in your décor. In fact, I’m thinking about getting (read: making) my own chalkboard for the wall because of the ease of holiday decorating. Don’t worry. I’ll share the tutorial when I do.

These folded felt bunny bags are too cute! If you put these in the baskets instead of the individual packs of candy, you’ll save money too. Not to mention, you can control the portions this way which I’m a huge fan of.

 

Keep the kids busy while they wait for dinner with these free printable coloring pages. There are tons to choose from and you will buy yourself at least 5 extra minutes of prep time without the wines of hungry little ones.
