Can you believe that Easter is just over a week away? If you aren’t ready yet, I’ve gathered some of the best ideas around the web for a perfect Easter that you can put together quickly.

In fact, I’ll be preparing right along with you. Why? I have to start our Easter gifts all over again. I had previously purchased everything for our baskets weeks in advance, congratulating myself on being prepared so early.

Yeah, tip for you: If you prepare in advance for holidays, you had better have a good (or fantastic) hiding place for the gifts! I, unfortunately had a major lapse in judgement and put the bag of goodies in my office.

Not only did the kids find it but, staying true-to-form, they proceeded to pull out and examine every. Single. Thing. So I will be starting all over again.

This Easter round-up will be my first stop in the new preparations!

Easter Food

I had never even heard of Easter bread before but this is such a neat idea. I see a new family tradition in our future.

 

How adorable are these cupcakes? I love that the “grass” is sprinkles plus they are super easy to put together.

 

If you want to make a brownie better, add some of that Easter candy to them. These Cadbury Egg brownies look absolutely decadent!

These graham cracker Easter treats are the perfect easy treat for the kids this holiday. If your kids are anything like mine, they will flip for these!

 

If you are feeling more ambitious than I am, you should totally make these homemade Peeps. These are perfect if you already own a mold and a stand mixer. Maybe I could make little “Peep” footballs since I already own that mold.

This chalkboard idea is perfect, especially if you already use one in your décor. In fact, I’m thinking about getting (read: making) my own chalkboard for the wall because of the ease of holiday decorating. Don’t worry. I’ll share the tutorial when I do.

Easter Crafts

These folded felt bunny bags are too cute! If you put these in the baskets instead of the individual packs of candy, you’ll save money too. Not to mention, you can control the portions this way which I’m a huge fan of.

 

Keep the kids busy while they wait for dinner with these free printable coloring pages. There are tons to choose from and you will buy yourself at least 5 extra minutes of prep time without the wines of hungry little ones.

 

These little Easter cottages are adorable and she provides the template right on her site! I love all of the glitter and bright colors. These are perfect for a festive Easter mantel.

Give your kids even more excitement by dressing up their plastic eggs like aliens. Or, gather all of the materials together and let them create their own after the egg hunt!

Easter Gifts and Baskets
