Sausage French Toast Breakfast Casserole

When you are not a morning person, breakfast can be a dread. The last thing a tired mom feels like doing as soon as she gets up is cooking in the kitchen. This sausage French toast breakfast casserole lets you spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying that cup of coffee in the morning. Whip it up the night before and throw it in the over the next morning. This is also a fantastic recipe for Christmas morning. It can bake in the oven while your family gets started on gifts and fun!

Sausage French Toast Breakfast Casserole Ingredients

Step 1

First, pre-heat your oven to 375º F.

Step 2

Next, brown your sausage in a sauté pan.

Step 3

Strain the grease from your cooked sausage.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, whisk your eggs together.

Step 5

Next, whisk in your vanilla, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon until well combined.

Step 6

Add you milk to the egg mixture and whisk together.

Step 7

Spray an 8×10 baking dish with non-stick spray.

Step 8

Begin tearing your bread into small pieces and add them directly to your baking dish.

Crumble your cooked sausage over the top of your torn bread pieces.

Next, pour your egg mixture over the top. Let it sit a minute to allow the mixture to soak into your bread.

Step 11

Bake your sausage French toast breakfast casserole at 375º F for 25 minutes.

Step 12

Pull your casserole from the oven and sprinkle powder sugar over the top of it.

Step 13

Serve with syrup as desired.

  • 1 pound Ground Breakfast Sausage
  • 10-12 oz. French Loaf
  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 2 tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. Allspice
  • 1 tbsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 cup of Milk
  • Powder Sugar for Sprinkling
  • Syrup

Instructions

  1. First, pre-heat your oven to 375º F.

These are seriously melt-in-your mouth delicious. Our family of 5 tore through one batch in 2 days. They are that good.

Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies Ingredients

Step 1

Pre-heat your oven to 375º F.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together brownie mix and flour.

Step 3

Next, mix in your eggs and oil until well combined.

Lastly, stir in your peanut butter chips.

Step 5

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Step 6

Drop cookie dough onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

Makes 64 Cheesy Bacon Ranch Smokies

 

Are you looking for an easy appetizer to serve at your next party? These cheesy bacon ranch smokies are a seriously easy and delicious way to feed a crowd!

Step 1

First, pre-heat your over to 375º F.

Step 2

Next, cut your bacon strips into fifths.

Then cut each half of one can of crescent rolls into 16 roughly-equal pieces (4 pieces by 4 pieces).

Tip:

  • I got a little knife happy in the photo above and cut an extra line. If that happens, use your fingers to pinch the dough back together.

Step 4

Now wrap one smokie in bacon.

Step 5

Next, wrap a piece of your crescent roll dough around the bacon wrapped smoke.

Step 6

Place the double-wrapped smokie on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Continue wrapping smokies in bacon and dough until your cookie sheet is full.

  • You may want to lightly spray your wrapped smokies with oil before sprinkling to help the seasoning stick.

Step 9

Bake your wrapped smokies for 8 minutes.

Step 10

Remove them from the over and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the tops.

Then, pop them back in the oven and bake for an additional 7 minutes.

  • 2 Packages of Lit’l Smokies
  • 12 oz. Bacon
  • 2 Cans of Crescent Rolls
  • 2 tbsp. Ranch Seasoning
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese (to sprinkle on top)

  1. First, pre-heat your over to 375º F.
