It is time to start getting ready for Independence Day. We love celebrating the holiday with family and part of that celebration is festive decorations. That’s why this year I came up with this DIY stars and stripes centerpiece. It is the perfect easy decoration for your 4th of July celebration. It is great to dress up a folding table or your party buffet. When you get your supplies at the links provided below you will have enough supplies to make 12 centerpieces. Plan your orders according to the size of your party. Don’t worry, though. They are incredibly easy to make even if you need a lot of them for your get together.

Next, curl all of your ribbon strips by pulling each one across your scissor blade.

Step 4
Cut a small piece of wire garland and set it to the side.

Step 5
Then align curled your curled ribbons with 2 of each color facing right and 2 of each color facing left.

Next, push one of your star kabobs through the wrapped wire garland.

Step 8
Continue sliding your ribbons up until they rest just under the star.

Step 11

Then use your scissors to cut the imprint from your foam.
Tip:
- Use one blade of the scissors like a knife to make this step easier.
Step 14
Put your cut out piece of foam in the bottom of your pail and stick your pinwheel into the foam.

Step 15
Fill in any gaps in the bottom of your pail with extra pieces of floral foam.
Step 16
Next, place your star ribbon sticks at an angle to the left and right of your pinwheel.

Step 17
Put a coffee filter in your pail in front of the pinwheel and star ribbon sticks.

Step 18
Lastly, put a second coffee filter in your pail behind the pinwheel and star ribbon sticks.
